Watts Going On
Three of our ladies were able to attend the WILD conference this year. They received a lot of helpful ideas about ministering to Ladies and children, and were able to join ladies from different churches in worship and ministry.
The three wise women came to visit with us and share how their husbands went to find the child the stars foretold would be born. Mrs. Casper, Mrs. Melchior and the VERY pregnant Mrs. Balthazar shared tea and their stories together in a comedy that kept everyone laughing.
Once again the ladies got together for fun and fellowship. Children enjoyed a contest on dressing babies and the women enjoyed a humorous Fashion Show. The “Tender Warriors” Men’s group prepared and served dinner to the ladies.
Every Thursday morning at 8:30 the ladies of the church gather for prayer. Prayer requests are received throughout the week and entered in the books for tracking.
The “Tender Warriors” gather for breakfast at the church and have a time of fellowship and Bible Study.
Men from different churches gather early on pre-selected Sundays to have a time of fellowship.
The men gather prior to service and pray for the service and other needs.
Camp is just around the corner and we are looking forward to another great year. Camp leaders have brought in an excellent speaker, worship band and 4 of our Wesleyan Universities will be there. Camp Registration and Medical Forms are at the church. Please feel free to ask for one.
These forms can also be found on our district website www.wpadistrict.org/youth-ministry/
On June 18, our youth will be sponsoring a fund raiser at Hoss’s Steak House in Enola. Get a ticket at church and a portion of your bill will be donated to our Youth for Summer camp.
